| Tamanna Bhatia also known as Tamannaah Bhatia is an indian actress who works mainly in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movies. She was born on December 21, 1989 into a Sindhi Hindu family to Santhosh Bhatia, a diamond merchant and Rajani Bhatia in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She also has an elder brother, Anand Bhatia. |
| She did her schooling in Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, Mumbai and later graduated with a degree in arts from National College, Mumbai. |
| Tamanna changed the spelling of her name to Tamannaah for numerological reasons. |
She made her acting debut in 2005 at the age of just 15 years with hindi movie "Chand Sa Roshan Chehra" alongside Samir Aftab but the movie was the box-office failure. In the same year, she made her telugu film debut with "Sree" which was also a commercial failure. In 2006, Tamanna made her tamil film debut with "Kedi" which was a was a commercial success.
